Cleaning The Georgetown Door Lite®

The Georgetown Door Lite® (window) can be cleaned with a mild soap and lukewarm water using a clean soft sponge or cloth in a circular motion. Rinse well with clean water. Dry thoroughly with a chamois or moist cellulose sponge to prevent water spots. Do not scrub or use brushes on this product. Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Fresh paint splashes, grease, and smeared glazing compounds can be removed easily before drying by rubbing lightly with a grade of VM&P or isopropyl. Afterward, wash with a mild soap and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Do not use abrasive, highly alkaline, or petroleum-based cleaners. Never scrape the Georgetown Door Lite® with razor blades, squeegees, or sharp instruments. Do not use Benzene, gasoline, acetone or carbon tetrachloride, or butyl cellosolve on the Georgetown Door Lite®. Avoid cleaning in hot sun or at elevated temperatures.
